Advent Calendar, Day Twenty Two

I hope you enjoyed part one. Here's part two..

Amy clutched Caitlins arm, as the ice crawled up her body. Keiran sat with his hands masking his face, and hopelessly said, "There's nothing we can do, Amy, I'm sorry."
A small communication device then began buzzing on the table, Keiran picked it up and pressed it by the side. Mia on the other line informed, "Holcroft has gone. He teleported away somehow."
Caitlin looked up, and asked "I thought his transmat only worked with some animals. How did.."
Keiran sat with no emotion, "I wouldn't be so surprised. There's bound to be more he's not telling us."
The Doctor realized the technology, and said, "He teleported. And of course his original body was destroyed as the copy was made", Mia nodded along, "So where was said copy made then."
Will walked towards the machine, "Let's find out."
"My thoughts exactly."
As Amy's body became almost completely transformed, her face was still, with just a finger twitching in freedom. Mia then pulsed back, looking at the comms device with a thought, "The Transmat. We can teleport Amy through!"
Keiran looked back, with confusion, "What would that do? She's already... she's gone."
"Not yet, mate. And even when she does, we can bring her back. Get me a syringe - NOW."
The Doctor pulled out a large section of the machine from underneath, sliding outwards. He leant down and crawled in on his back, with his Sonic Screwdriver between his teeth, mumbling, "So. You two have no idea where he's gone?", Mia looked with her bottom lip outstretched, itching for a question. Will answered, "Nope. Well he could be in any of the sixty one other stations, but we can't know which one. Mia then asked, "So what's with your clothes?".
Will then laughed, and "Yeah, I, I, I was going to ask."
The Doctor rolled out from under the machine, with his jumper creasing, and moaned, "Oh what is so wrong with this? It's Christmas!"
"We now have her DNA. Hopefully it's not contaminated yet", Caitlin said, looking down on the ice sculpture of a once human Amy.
"I still don't get where your going with this", Keiran sighed.
The Doctor mumbled something under the machinery, then jumped up and bolted into motion, "Right!", he said, pulling a lever on the side, "Want to see where he's gone? I have the coordinates. Wait, not yet. Caitlin and.. Keiran will be along soon, with Amy's DNA I'll bet anything. You two wait here. " And with that the Doctor disappeared, marching off into the distance, fixing his creased new look.
The door opened, with the Doctor standing hunched, shivering. Keiran and Caitlin were snow suiting up, with a small vial of blood. The Doctor looked down to see Amy frozen, then smiled.
Caitlin smiled back, "See, he get's it. Took you long enough, Keiran."
Keiran fiddled with his scarf not knowing which way to fold, "Oh.. shut up. "
The Doctor was still standing outside, fiddling with his words, "Go enter her DNA into the machine, your friends are waiting. I'm going back to the TARDIS."
"The what?"
The Doctor laughed, "Doesn't matter. But get me Amy back. Now!"
He pulled pushed forward a lever in the TARDIS and entered a code onto the typewriter, softly singing to himself the coordinates, "three, three, nine, makes eight and one.."
In bleak darkness, a faint blue glow inched at on side. The yellow bulb of the TARDIS then appeared and the soft screeching sound materialised in the time machine. The Doctor stepped out, "Right. Let's see where we are. It's hot in here, isn't it?", he thought to himself, "Talking to myself again. Got to stop this". He pulled out a torch from his pocket, and switched it on. A Santa shadow appeared on the walls, in the centre of the light, amusing himself. As The Doctor tried to find his way in the room, he turned to see a small window at the back. In the view, sat the neon Earth, hanging in the wilderness, but with a pulsing light beaming right onto it, spreading ice throughout the planet, from the very ship the Doctor just boarded.

Part Three tomorrow! Also, change of plan, I may be able to have this story finished by Christmas Eve, if that goes to plan, then I will have a different Christmas Day advent.
