Advent Calendar, Christmas Day

Merry Christmas!! The final Advent Calendar is here, so please read the last part of Forever Winter.

A Few Hours Earlier

Inside Holcroft Dynamics, Mia, Will, Caitlin and Keiran were leaving the building. A door slid open from the boss' lab and Keiran dragged Holcroft out from inside, "Last bit of trouble we'll be getting from you", he said.
Mia pulled out handcuffs from her pocket and yanked Sam's hands behind his back and frantically secured him, and ordered, "We are getting you out of your lab. You are coming with us, away from buttons and levers and technology." Holcroft went along with the group, leaving the building, until he popped into dust, startling everyone. The handcuffs fell to the floor and the group all stood back. "No. He teleported away.", Will deducted, "Someone must have helped him."
Caitlin sighed, picking up the handcuffs from the pile of dust, "Sneaky devil, isn't he. Who helped him though? Surely by now the whole world knows he's the villain in this... everything." She looked up out of the glass roof of the building, to see a coat of ice around it. A moment later, a flash, followed immediately with a familiar voice shouting the end of a sentence, "Pond!".

Present Time

Mia and Keiran flashed on scene into the alien ship, with Amy, The Doctor and horde of llamas turning to them. They looked to their left to see out from the ship window, to see the breathtaking view of planet Earth, hanging in darkness.
CLANG! The metal gate sealed the group in a prison. One of the many alien llamas stepped out from the rest and declared, "My names 'Uagrr'. You will all be silenced, I want no questions. We have too much to do to deal with you people, we'll see to you after we have completed our mission." The Doctor walked forward to the rusty bars and asked, "And just what kind of a mission would that be?"
"Silence! I'll be back, but in the meantime, don't think about escaping", he barked, nodding his irregular head in the corner. The group looked above their shoulders to see a small camera hanging from the roof." The alien left, patting it's hooves on the floor, with the other aliens following it out. Amy sat down on the floor, "So what do you think, Doctor?" The Doctor looked sternly towards the camera, and declared "Escaping!"
In a north island of New Zealand, Lake Taupo sits among the Taupo Volcano. Camps of people found this the warmest of places to live in miles, with tents all around the area. It paved the ground with small bundles of people living together. But the ice was still too powerful. The volcano was freezing at that very moment. Ice was falling from the skies into the mouth and steam exited.
The Doctor could see the unpickable lock that stranded them, and mumbled, "...Took my Sonic Screwdriver." He turned to Mia and Keiran and wondered, "Where are the other two?"
Keiran looked up at the Doctor, and pestered, "Back on Earth. They're guarding that Transmat."
Amy stood up beside the Doctor. "Yes?", he asked.
"Just wondering. How come my clothes... How come I've still got clothes?"
Keiran burst out laughing, soon joined by Mia.
"Im sorry?", The Doctor blatantly asked.
"I mean," Amy said, firmly, "When I teleported. My clothes are with me. They're not part of my DNA though."
Mia stood up beside her and explained, "Well. That was my doing. One of many of Holcroft's inventions include a formula for cleaning clothes. It uses nanobots, which mimic the users DNA, while cleaning the clothes inbetween washes. I added that part into the computer, while it was loading your DNA scan. You're welcome."
Keiran took out his comms device from his pocket and lightly bashed it with his palm, hopelessly, "Doesn't work. Well it does but I doubt we'd get signal from up here. " The Doctor turned to see it, and lit up, grinning. He turned and swiped it from Keiran's hand. He jumped back, "Hey!". The Doctor immediately pulled out the back of the device and began tinkering, narrating his plan, "Sorry about that but this can be useful. I can modify it to use the supercharged IR signal. It can talk to the receiver in the camera, and more importantly, all these machines around us."
The camera image blanked out, as the Doctor experimented with his new gadget. He laughed, "I can wreak havoc with this thing!!". The prison door unlocked as the Doctor leaded them out of the cell. Along the corridor, a group of aliens stormed through, as the group scurried and backed into a room to their side, as the aliens searched for them. One from the horde picked up a device and talked through "We're heading for the cells now. We'll find the prisoners, Uagrr, don't you worry." As they gently closed the door behind them, The Doctor and the group turned to see where they had hid. Amy stepped forward and looked down a row of bars, keeping them from the ledge, down where a giant machine pointed downwards into space. "This must be where they're freezing the Earth from."
Mia looked down at the contraption, which looked as if it was a laser shooting down onto the planet. She asked, "I thought the 62 stations were what froze us."
"They created the new atmosphere, this thing here is what is freezing the planet", the Doctor explained.
Keiran looked behind him to the door, through a small circular window and an alien llama popped its head upwards. He startled backwards as the door opened and the llama clocked it's way in and before their eyes took out a knife and stabbed Keiran in the leg. He snickered as the group jumped forward in aid. "NO!", screamed Mia in horror, as she ran to tender the infected leg. The llamas all gathered around the group and they were rounded back into the central control room.
"... and that is why you should let us go, Mr Uagrr.", The Doctor finished. Keiran was lying on the floor beside him, with Amy tending to his wound as he panted in agony. The alien stepped forward and looked intently at the Doctor, then taunted, "I don't really see how Christmas Dinner would bribe us to let you go, but nice try, I'll give you a piece of Earth broccoli before I kill you then, if you're that interested. " Amy pulled out the modified comms device and passed it along to the Doctor, saying, "All done." The aliens looked stunned to see the Doctor explain, "Well you see. I was able to lock on into this ships command and I'm afraid I've taken control. With this", he waved the device around, "I'm just going to turn off your big scary Earth freezing cannon and I'm afraid you've lost. " He flicked a switch and the aliens hurried onto the controls to see. "He's done... nothing.", One of the aliens reported. Uagrr looked suspiciously at the Doctor as he smiled deviously. He looked across to the group and spotted a mistake, "Where's the fourth prisoner?"
A llama held the knife in their hand, shivering in anger. It lunged forward and hurled the knife into the side of the Earth shattering cannon. It began freezing from the point of the weapon and the alien laughed in delight, as it ran back towards to the group. The door slid open as the llama strolled in, winking at the Doctor. The Doctor then stepped towards Uagrr and kneeled down to face him, saying "Hey Mister. I think you've done enough here. And", He looked at his watch, fixed at 25th December, "Your time is up. " The alarm bells all sounded as The Doctor yanked his Sonic Screwdriver out from a section on the control panel, and pointed it at the recent edition to the aliens. The llama merged back into Mia and the aliens were stunned. "You look like us to destroy the world. We'll look like you to re...troy the world."
"He's frozen the Nitrogen Accelerator!" One of the aliens monitored.
"You ready, Amy?", the Doctor asked.
"As ready as can be, Doctor!", she replied, flicking forward a switch on the comms device. Everyone on board at once disintegrated and fell as dust. They had been teleported off the ship.
Alongside the Taupo Volcano sat the teleport pad, sitting awkwardly. The ice had stopped falling, leaving the entire area coated with it melting. Will and Caitlin waited by the machine patiently as everyone appeared on the pad and set foot on New Zealand. The aliens immediately fainted from the heat and flopped down on the floor. They looked for a moment at the aliens inability to cope with slight heat, then looked back up at Will and Caitlin. The two ran and hugged Keiran and Mia, then turned to the Doctor. "Thank you, Doctor", They both said.
Amy looked around the magnificent frozen view and asked, "Doctor, where are we? Is this one of the other stations?"
He looked confused and nodded to Will and Caitlin. Will answered, "All thanks to the Doctor, this was his idea. And you, Amy."
"It was?" The Doctor and Amy replied together.
"Well it will be. New Zealand this is. Taupo Island, remember that, Doctor. "
The Doctor smiled, and understood. He looked down at his wrist and his watch showed Christmas Day with small animated snowflakes sprinkling down. "Merry Christmas", he said, pressing a button on his watch, "We'll see you later". The watch shone a bright light and up fired a small ball, bursting out into the sky and down came snow.

The story STILL hasn't finished. To tie up some loose ends, which were supposed to be within today's Advent, but seeing as though it's dragging on now, I instead will have an epilogue tomorrow. The story definitely will be finished tomorrow.

Anyway, Happy Christmas!!
